I'd reframe it as a stupid game..
On the other hand, they grew 400% in one year.
How is that different than a patent?
Because they arent blocking copies. They are locking out alternative products which might be completely different from being stocked in the same shop all because they MIGHT compete. Its very protectionist and anti competitive.
