Canonical's plan to make 2026 the year of Linux on the desktop
zdnet.comI keep hearing about this "year of the Linux desktop" but I have no idea what that means. It's been a comfortable OS since ext3 support was added. Does it mean majority market share or something?
It means when it will gain a significant market share of the desktop segment, but it is mostly used as a meme.
Good stuff. Fedora's year of the desktop was 2025 lol
