Typst
github.comUnlike many I was never really unhappy with TeX, I still think it is amazing. I used to be skeptical about Typst but after using it for a while I cannot really imagine any scenario where I'd go back to TeX or LaTeX again.
I feel that LaTeX is still a good option for broad use, as it is the default that "everyone" knows. It may happen that Typst will be forgotten in 10 years, I doubt that will happen with LaTeX.
