This is laughable and won't do a thing. People resort to bots and other underhand tactics because it is near impossible to book a driving test slot.

"The driving test costs £62 for a weekday slot or £75 for evenings and weekends.

The letter said some third-party sellers are charging up to £500."

And driving lessons cost about £45 an hour these days. Hence, increase the charge for a driving test to £200+ and use the money to hire more test examiners, ultimately saving learner drivers both time and money...
