Apple App Store Web Has Exposed Its Source Code
reddit.comFun. While there will be no "executable" code that you cant find in the JS, there is potential for comments in code to reveal e.g. employee names (not a big deal) and maybe secrets and possibly profanity!
If I were Apple I'd just open source this now.
It is amusing to see amateur web devs tripping over themselves to make this into a big issue when experienced devs this is a big nothingburger.
It’s frontend code. It’s not an issue that the front end can see it.
Quite frankly amateurish. Do they not have a staging environment at all at Apple?

Publishing frontend source maps is not uncommon and quite often done intentionally.
