63% of jobs require keyboard use but only 2.5% of high schools teach keyboarding

Here is a typing story in my family. I teach my daughters to type (touch type). It is OK, and I know it will take time. However, they are also not bad compared to most of their friends and cousins. During the summer, they usually visit their grandparents and stay in the rather large home in a quiet, remote part of town.

They go playing on their computers late into the night, and, of course, the rapid rhythmic sound that echoes through the night has kept up the household awake.
