Hi HN,

I often find myself wondering: when a tech term starts buzzing, which community talks about it first? Instead of checking multiple sites manually, I built BuzzScope.

It lets you:

Track keyword buzz across different technical communities

See top posts and contributors (with links)

Explore time-series trends and cross-platform comparisons

Repo: GitHub – witch-Judy/BuzzScope

I’d love to hear your thoughts — and which keywords you’d try first.

Great idea! Did not try it yet but demo looks promising.

Would be a fun to have such an app to keep up with all the buzz echoing around enterprises around the world. E.g., being notified about new buzz starting up.

But it would be probably very hard to define and identify words that are just start buzzing.

Maybes that’s the idea for a new AI-buzz startup. I haven’t seen anything like this yet. Something like Google Ads but focused on the communities — tech, but actually any community has its own buzzwords.

I hope you will make billions on this, and I’m starting watching your GitHub. ;)

Thanks a lot! Your comment really inspired me — “Maybe that’s the idea for a new AI-buzz startup” is a fascinating direction to think about. Also, I really appreciate the GitHub follow!
