VMware: The private cloud's main purpose is now keeping developers happy

Hoping people will build on vmware after what they did to their licensing deals is ... something I guess.

If you're making the decision to go with broadcom's vmware in 2025 without a clear emergency jump ship / migration policy you'd be liable for negligence / misconduct, in my book.
