So the argument is life is getting expensive (it is!) so you should invest in this expensive hobby to, some day, maybe, save a few $?

    Saving cash is definitely one argument, but you’re right in that it would probably take a few months to years to pay off depending on how much/what you print.

    The real value today is in sustainability & impact - something you can’t as easily put a $ on.

    So for the snarky comment, but to be honest: Everyone I talked to about 3D printing has told me the same story, that it is amazing and powerful and... extremely time consuming. Thats a currency most have way too little already.

      That was my hesitation too. I’ll say, the new generations are extremely solid. It’s like sending a Kindle book via email from your PC if you’ve ever done it. Will definitely do a follow up in a couple months as well
