New Stanford AI Coding Course: The Modern Software Developer

The pace of change in AI coding right now is dizzying. I have a fair amount of time devoted to keeping track of advances in support tooling from LLMs, but I feel perpetually perpetually out of touch. The syllabus says that they'll have weekly news updates, so I wonder how much will have changed by the end of week 10. Which part of the course content will be obsolete by 12/5?

What would be most helpful to me is a guide to what is going to remain hard for a software developer to accomplish regardless of LLM assistance. What are the skills one should invest in to be a centaur instead of a fungible meat puppet?
