I have been an Ansel Adams fan for decades, and yet never knew he took extensive photographs of the University of California system in the 1960s.

University of California, Riverside has thousands of photos and negatives in their archive. Some are viewable online: https://ucrartscollections.ucr.edu/en/collection/?f=relatedW... Most of the unscanned images are probably just similar shots.

Some of my favorite I've found scrolling through:

Dr Margaret Burbidge, UCSD, https://ucrartscollections.ucr.edu/en/collection/item/114620...

UCSD "Breezeway" which connects to the Physics building where I took classes: https://ucrartscollections.ucr.edu/en/collection/item/97028/

Bikes locked up on the UCR campus: https://ucrartscollections.ucr.edu/en/collection/item/19176/
