Wikimedia Foundation considers closing Wikinews

There isn’t any logical reasoning to be found in the article, apart from repeated statements that they are not getting traffic.

Why can’t wiki news stay alive as a non biased source of information? I have often found its content to be devoid of fluff.

This is really stupid of them to kill this project, with the only reason cited as lack of traffic. What measures have they taken then to improve that?
