I have. Once.

Was doing a search on whether Case IH was doing the same shit John Deere had been doing in terms of adding software interlocks that brick Ag machines. Decided to try a few permutations of query just to see if a consistent answer could be wrung out, or if it was still a fundamentally statistical result.

The AI answer morphed itself depending on how much emphasis toward one direction or another that I put into the query. Yes and no answers were floated between with the same sources being quoted which notably, when looked at contained no information relating to the original query of "Is Case IH using software interlocks like John Deere has been?" Once I realized that, I've never gone back to it because I realized that all these things deliver is the illusion of surety, which I am most decidedly not into.

Kills me that people are seriously taking these types of answers at face value. This is anti-technology at it's finest. We've created the technical equivalent of a Bloody Stupid Johnson implementation of an information retrieval/summarization system.
