How to Turn an Acquaintance into a Friend

This got me thinking about C.S Lewis' quote

"Friendship ... is born at the moment when one man says to another 'What! You too? thought that no one but myself..."

I guess being generous with disclosure matters a lot instead of the "talk less and listen" mantra being thrown around.
