I vacillate between "We're going to get the negative effects of social media on steroids" and "We're all going to learn to just not trust what we see on the internet without extensive verification, and ultimately we'll be fine."

    AI girlfriends/boyfriends are the killer app. Preying on the "loneliness epidemic" that's caused by everyone spending all day staring at glowing rectangles.
