There must be some solid journalism behind the article to confirm those sources, I imagine.
Is there any conflict of interest here? Like Comcast (telecom conglomerate) owning The Verge?
Let me reverse engineer this article: "Musk is probably a crook, and taking over the Library of Congress is a scumbag move, let's put the two things closer to make it look like their new telecom is evil".
Funny thing is that Musk is probably a crook indeed, and taking over the Library of Congress sounds like a terrible evil move. However, exaggerating it to play telecom wars doesn't help at all.
I guess we're in an age that we can't trust media owned by tech or telecoms.
Bring good journalism back. It sucks to not have it, for everyone.
