The deep connections of the current goings-on to the tech sector elite, and to ycombinator folks specifically, plus the extreme relevance of all of it to the business landscape have got to be really making moderation here hellish.
It's super-relevant to topics that are often solidly in HN's wheel-house, but it's all "political" and comes with all kinds of above-average flame-war potential built in.
