Digg is doing early access today
early.digg.comI think, at this point, I'm no longer interested in joining a social media site or forum that is profit-motivated in some way. Like I'm only really on Lemmy these days or HN. I deleted my reddit account when the recommendation algorithm started to just serve me outrageous and angry content. I deleted Facebook and Instagram after Zuckerberg started kissing the ring with the white house.
I just think that more websites that sell tons of ads and whose administrators are more motivated by gathering eyeballs than building a community is not the solution to our problems with big tech
A tiny one-time $5 barrier keeps the bots at bay and saves the best usernames for actual humans.

Thanks, I'll continue using chatddit.com or coding it that.
