I'm working on a new personal project 3D Data World this project aims to be a fun place where you can explore data about the world. I decided to start this project to put my data analyst skills into practice, such as: data collection, data cleaning and data visualization. For now, I just have one single category that is Population. In the near future, I plan to add more categories and explore different ways to visualize the data.
What kind of data would you like to see? If you have any feedback or ideas, feel free to share them.
Weather data.
Well on my phone it's nearly impossible to use. If I grab the text at the bottom I can center the globe. If I pick a place and move the slider I seem to get population for everywhere I didn't select.
Hard to say it was compelling.
For now, it is not optimized for mobile, but I'll work on that. The slider updates every country with the population number for that year. I hadn't thought about updating it by selecting a specific country, but it's a good feature.
