Meta addresses claims it forced users to follow President Trump

Is there any reason to believe what Meta, or any other large corporation, has to say publicly?

I remember 4 years ago (or was it 8) when people said the same thing about Twitter, because of course the Obama “POTUS” account transitioned to Trump...
