US Treasury says it was hacked by China

Its a realy bad look for the US.
Is the word of the US Treasury worth anything?If someone hacks in, at will, to the US treasury, whats stopping them, from then leaving traces that lead back to China.Or is that the treasuries security is so good that they always know who broke in? And the Chinese hackers are so dumb that they broke in, left all of the money from the bank of banks,and forgot there ID. Or hey, what does China care if they cany BUY any good chips now, when they can just borrow anything they need.
