Former Intel CEO asks people to pray and fast for employees
seekingalpha.comI could be wrong, but he’s reading the room around who’s coming into the White House, so maybe he’s trying to get some favors? If we picks winners and ideas based on arbitrary criteria like religion, it’s a good way to lose competitively to other nations.
Thoughts and prayers for the shareholders.
I heard on a podcast that he’s very religious and posted religious tweets on Sundays. That doesn’t help anything.
So if you didn't hear that on our podcast[0], would you mind pointing me to wherever you did hear it? Would love to hear someone else's take on a practice that... doesn't help anything, as you say.

I think it was Dithering (requires a subscription, so not possible for you to check my memory without paying).
Maybe it does help. Might be letting us know God owns AMD stock.
Does Intel just need to burn some fatted calves or similar? He's making God sound very transactional.
I'd hate to think that "thoughts and prayers" becomes investment advice or execution strategy. It sure hasn't helped lottery players.
Does he know something about upcoming job cuts or site closures that prompted this tweet? How worried should current Intel employees be for their jobs? Intel already went through 15k layoffs. Will they do another 20k layoffs?
Some Intel employees will be fasting involuntarily when they're unemployed and broke.
There was talk on a different thread about potential sale to AMD or Qualcomm iirc
