reqbin.zipHey HN! I built a modern pastebin because I got tired of pastebins that look like they were designed when Myspace was still cool. ReqBin is built on the T3 Stack (Next.js, Tailwind, tRPC, Prisma) with encryption at rest and a clean UI that won't make your eyes bleed. It also features multiple shortcuts with the hope of making using the website a smoother experience. Feedback is appreciated!
I built this a while back and it's been sitting in my GitHub collecting digital dust. Figured I'd share it here because why not? If anyone wants to contribute, the repo is open for business - I've got some issues tagged and ready to go. Fair warning: my response time might be "eventual" but I promise I'll get back to you!
If you're wondering "why another pastebin?" - because I wanted a nice relatively easy project to try out this stack with a little while ago. I might do things differently if I was building it now, but I'm not!
P.S. It goes without saying - but just because the data is encrypted at rest, don't go pasting in any sensitive stuff or company secrets. While I've done my best to keep things somewhat secure, this is still a hobby project and not Fort Knox. Save those AWS keys, private tokens, and that secret recipe for your grandma's cookies for more appropriate places. The best security practice is not putting sensitive stuff on some random guys website in the first place.
