It's hard to trust a promise to not comply with the law. It's a nice sentiment but you can't really know how anyone is going to respond to the full brunt and pressure of the legal system.

    Clue is based in Berlin, says the article. The full brunt and pressure of the American legal system isn't terribly scary when you're in Berlin.

But they will hand it over to Israeli authorities, or any business that pays?

Hyperventilating TDS aside, much more comforting for any service would be "we CAN'T hand your data over even if we wanted"
