Degree Confluence Project

I remember finding out about this project early in 2001, and I think the web site looked exactly the same then as it does now. I picked out a couple of unvisited confluence points I thought I could reach - 48N,124W and 47N,121W - but in three attempts, I had no success (too much snow!). It was a fun excuse to explore otherwise-unremarkable parts of the world.
