If you live in the UK and have children I would REALLY appreciate any thoughts you have.

My name is Tom, this is my startup which I recently launched. I have been working on the technology and platform for some time now though.

Why did we create this: - Young children outgrow their lightly used clothes each year. So parents have a constant need to get in new items and pass on their used items. - The environmental problem of fashion is huge, literally bigger than aviation and marine shipping combined. - Parents want quality clothes at an affordable price and they don't have time to mess around with bad actors and time wasting features. They deserve a product built around their specific needs. - Existing well known platforms aren't as customer focused as they should be, leading to bad experiences and mistrust. We believe a competitor in this area can increase the bar for what a customer experience should look like in the resale space.

Key features: - App only - UK only for now - Available on App Store & Google Play - Zero seller fees - 10% buyer fee - Bundle discounts

(n.b. The app requires a sign up, phone number + email, I know this might be frustrating for a quick review but it really is required when dealing with C2C commerce and wanting to ensure a level of trust in the user base we are trying to build, apologies for that!)

Thank you for any comments in advance.

Congratulations on launch. How are you planning to differentiate from Vinted?

Thanks. Great question, improved trust, quality and experience would be the main areas.

We can do better on trust by cultivating it from this caring demographic and supporting them with a fair process. Trust for example that the product you are buying is actually in the condition stated. Parents would likely pay a small premium for this.

We feel that competitors in this field have done well expanding globally but at the same time have not done enough to improve and move forwards the overall experience of buying and selling secondhand. Even as a tiny startup we feel we are already better than the market leader in some of these regards.

Lastly by targeting only parents it allows us to change and optimise the whole process for them specifically. For example we prioritise time saving features (no bidding or offers) and we can offer services that don't make sense to non parents (school clothing).

I love this idea!

I like your UX! It's simple, clear, and fast.
