Also, there is a difference between being constructively involved in anything and enforcing some dead meat corporate speech code that is gaslighting you about your allegedly flawed expression and trying to make you love corporate compliance. If that is the nicest thing your company can muster, it should indeed try to stay as apolitical as possible.

Also you don't get to force compliance on customers if you don't want to get punished. The motivation behind it is irrelevant.
