Show HN: Truncate dates and drop timezones in Git commits
github.comI have been using a small tool I made to hide the time information in my git commits. It also sets the timezone to UTC. So all my commits only have the date information, and don't leak (i.e. permanently store) the precise time or timezone I work at.
