Residents sue company for burning tires to mine Bitcoin

In the suit filed Tuesday, opponents say the Panther Creek plant – owned by Stronghold Digital Mining, Inc. - near Nesquehoning is burning rubber tires to mine bitcoin and, in the process, polluting the air.
