I made $250k selling JavaScript

Like every other post of this ilk, the secret is “have an audience”. There’s nothing here that you haven’t read N times before on similarly titled HN submissions.

This is indistinguishable from spam. It serves only to hype the author and their startups. I felt like I was reading spam inside spam. Like having ad breaks inside another ad.

> Newsletters, retweets from bigger accounts, YouTubers. People spread the word. It brings traffic to my site, which increases revenue and makes more people spread the word.

Like tooting your own horn on HN, I suppose. Given the submission history, I’m surprised this account hasn’t triggered the HN anti-spam features.
