Why Americans Stopped Hanging Out

I am surprised work hours isn’t part of the reasons listed though I suppose it is alluded to in the lack of leisure time. I don’t see people hanging out because they don’t have time after work. Work tends to extend well into the evening for a lot of folks and many workplaces have a culture where the expectation is that you will be reachable at all times.
