Adam Neumann seeks to buy back WeWork after declaring bankruptcy in 2021
techcrunch.comWhy? So he can finish driving the company into the ground?
Was HN headline editorialized from "Adam Neumann is trying to buy back WeWork"? This version makes it sound like A.N. went bankrupt.
How is this guy still relevant?
He's a scammer who created a real estate company enshrined by a strange cult of personality. That real estate company IPO'd and then failed.
Anyone that gives him money to go do something else will see that money taken and used for irrelevant if not frivolous personal projects Adam is interested in, no matter how unrelated they are to the business he purports to be running.
Can't he just fuck off with his ill-gotten billions and leave the rest of us alone?
It's astonishing. I had a hard time wrapping my head around this...he is quite literally being REWARDED for failure. I knew the world wasn't fair, but wow.
