I think it would be better to redirect to open street maps or google maps for the location link at the bottom.

I clicked on that link on mobile and it just says:

> Download HERE WeGo for a better mobile experience

> For the best experience on small screens, get the app on your device.

ah, thanks for the heads up. Just switched it to OpenStreetMap, that one works fine on mobile.

WISH: Don't pad the hours with zero when using the 12-hour time format, e.g. '7:15:03 AM' instead of '07:15:03 AM'. The padding with zero is used in the 24-hour format, e.g. '07:15:03'.

Nice, love it.

There is an minimalistic Apple Watch face that I love which is such a simple graph of the suns position and it tells you times like these. You can move forward and back in time with the wheel.

Nice.

I always like to see civil twilight as well because it gives a sense of when it's actually light or dark but I can see how for something like this simplicity might be better.

Looks great.

can side-by-side be an option too? (at least on desktop)

.schedule { flex-direction: row; }

scrolling seems unnecessary.

that's brilliant. I don't know why I never thought of that. Just implemented it. Was basically just wasting horizontal space on desktops. thank you!

Great! Get rid of the footer padding? It forces scroll on Macbook pro (1440x900) (Or stick it to the bottom?)

Should not scroll anymore, cleaned up a little

        • whycome 2 years ago

Still scrolling (due to taht 150px padding) but still clean and to the point with the additional info you added. The design is really great. Is something like this appropriate for a long-term display? How often does it refresh? It's the perfect thing to add as a single card for various display signage (eg in a transit system, or ad screen).

I'll remove the padding, I think. This is appropriate for long-term displaying, the sun data is fetched once at loading the site and stored in a cookie for 6 hours. Weather data is fetched live at every request. Using a tab refresh plugin, this could be automatically fetched every hour or so.

I like it. Simple and clear.

You could add a button to suggest extra features. It could be a way to consider a premium version that could give you money.

btw: you can append ?units=imperial to the url if you want imperial units for the weather
