The financial loss to an individual artist might only be a few dollars annually(because their royalty payouts are so poor anyway), but in aggregate it will amount to millions of dollars stolen from small indie artists and funneled upward to the big players.
Really infuriating as an indie artist because they are still the most popular streaming platform so you feel like your music has to be on there.
