Bumble launches a separate BFF app for friend friending

I wonder if this will partially solve the problem of people misusing BFF, or maybe it will make it worse? Some people I know have tried the BFF feature to find new friends upon moving cities but told me they keep getting flirted with by men trying to use it for hookup purposes regardless.
