People don’t understand the real reasons why these banks failed. Yes everyone has asset liability mismatches. But most have govt support

    Most financial firms face less scrutiny from their own customers too. Flying under the radar is generally a reasonable decision.

    It's not good to have a double digit percentage of your client base coming from a small, insular community. They can act in quick succession if you appear to do anything untoward, and this can kill your business.
