All posts on r/pics and r/GIFs must now be about John Oliver

Definitively blows away Steve’s bullshit that the majority of users want a return to normal and that it’s just a few moderators behaving like “landed gentry” (Which is pretty rich coming from him).

This also excellently paves the way to encourage and support John Oliver to cover the saga and bring it from its current large but niche audience into wider society.
