Politicians do what they were elected to do. When they ran for office, did they promise to fix bridges, or did they promise to pwn the libs?

EVs are a political issue, short-term-ism vs. long-term-ism. Some states have always been more in line with short-term-ism.

Texas, Delaware, Florida, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico,Mississipi...

I am not surprised by the EV tax, it's a statement that implies 'In this State we don't give a damn what happens 150 years from now'. It was bound to happen, tree-huggers are becoming insufferable.

    I'm not going to disagree with you but I'd put out a bit of money that you do not live in a county/parish where they still have low-tonnage bridges.

    Your point is valid, but so is theirs.
