You may be doing Copyright Notices wrong: It's time to rethink your approach

All content? That seems difficult when content surely changes often--dynamically, generated from data and templates, and revised without notice.

Or maybe the date marks a "snapshot" of that first version of the website. Or, every page has its own "first published" year.

It would be nice if author's suggested alternative were standard.
