Yes, this is what they want. They send you to get rejected by people so later you go back to your community and they welcome you and they understand you and you learn they are your only allies and nobody else is.
To be clear on the logical flaw, nobody is arguing we should accept others’ rejections blindly. But their rejection shouldn’t strengthen our conviction. The most radical rational response is to ignore the rejection.
