Use your phone less by using grayscale mode
martin.shI've been doing this exact thing for years. This, coupled with pi-hole, makes phone usable again.

My belief is the 2nd version of any tech is the best. They've fixed the initial bugs from version one and are still trying to impress you, but they haven't started abusing and controlling you/your data with version 3 and on.
