Introduction to Teachify
beta.useteachify.comI've been working on building Teachify with my co-founders for a while.
We're dedicated to helping content creators and anyone who teaches online to build their own online businesses easily. This means a decentralized, less middleman approach where fans can more directly support the content and creators they love.
Many platforms act as intermediaries and take transaction fees from creators' earnings; however, more often than not, creators do not necessarily rely solely on the platform to bring in traffic; when creators themselves bring traffic to the platform, the platform still takes a cut from their revenues; in fact, creators now have many channels to connect directly with their fans, but they may not be able to get rid of the platform truly.
From a technical point of view, we must do several things.
First, the product must be multi-tenant architecture so that each user can easily create his own website.
Then the product must offer the option of a white label so that the creator can truly own the stage without having to endorse or advertise for anyone.
Most importantly, eventually, creators will need more advanced features and customization possibilities, and we must consider this, perhaps by providing an open source library of UI packages and a stable, efficient, and usable API, just as Shopify provides Shopify Plus for developers to build unique websites, Medusa.js provides headless/API-first composable commerce engine.
These ideas are our initial intention and our vision, software engineering has driven our company's development, and I'm happy to share them with all of you here on HN. Feel free to give me some feedback and advice.
