Enjoyed working on a personal project; Hacked a solution together for watering my plants back at home from a remote location since I was going to travel for over a month.

I used a RPI 0, MQTT protocol for creating a webhook like behaviour, Appsmith to created a web dashboard quickly and Supabase to store my data somewhere in the cloud.

costed me $100 overall, and lesser if you have the generic electronics equipment

Please hit me with any queries you might have if you wish to set this up for yourself. Happy to help :)

You are so lucky to have all your plants in similar pots by volume.

Hey, Even if the pots are different by volume (assuming the difference in height here), it should be fine. The water that is going though the feeding pipe is pressured and hence the height does not matter.

The amount of water outlet for each pot can also be controlled with a help of a screw on every outlet.

PS: some of my pots are also of different volume
