Hi HN,

we’re Rick & Alex and we’re excited, and somewhat nervous, to share Cogram (https://cogram.com) with you. Cogram creates automatic meeting transcripts and uses large language models to turn them into concise, actionable write-ups. Think action items, summaries, and bullet-point notes.

All of these are searchable, across all your meetings.

We currently support Zoom but are just wrapping up an MS Teams integration. Some things are still rough around the edges.

If you’d like to try Cogram, you can get started in < 2 min at https://app.cogram.com/ (free, no card required), with docs at https://docs.cogram.com.

We’d love to hear HN’s thoughts on it!

---

If you’re curious, some problems we’re currently thinking about are 1) understanding, and learning, what information users need from meetings and their unique language (acronyms, terminology, your favorite corp-speak/jargon) and 2) understanding if/how to make the platform valuable for all meeting participants. We’d love to get your feedback/ideas on these.

Some teams spend 50%+ of their time in virtual meetings. That’s a lot of rich, complex data. If large language models are a precursor or key component of future AGI, meetings are a really interesting setting for AI to learn how to work closely with humans.

*Edit: updated links.

I bet this is going to be very helpful especially user interviews. I have done lots of user interviews lately and I spent a lot of time collecting notes for different things the users said, asked for and then processing the action items. This could have saved me a lot of time. I'd love to see a Meets integration as well. Do you have any plans?

ooooh I love this. So I use fathom for video transcripts and adding bookmarks, todo list there. I love using fathom but I do not have a way to manage all the todo lists created from there, it is usually just embedded to the specific video calls. I would love to be able to manage all the todo lists and label them (e.g bugs to check, follow up, etc) I just tested Cogram, it does require right now little bit of manual work, which I assume will be all automated once you have a zoom app. I like the way it summarized the call for me, created bullet points and next steps. It also understood my accent, which is a huge plus :D It would be helpful to have integration with hubspot and to do add summary there as well, as well a call log. And to have centerlized to do list would be amaaazing

thank you for the detailed feedback! Yes, we're working on ironing out the manual step required for starting minutes in Zoom.

With "add summary there", do you mean syncing the meeting summary to Hubspot, or do you have something else in mind?

The centralised list of actions is an interesting idea, we'll look into this. How/where do you currently centralise your notes/action items?

Writing action items during a meeting is super distracting (plus mechanical keyboards are insanely loud). A tool like this is definitely something I need!

Appreciate the kind words davidgu, give it a spin! Also, love what you're doing with recall.ai.

Love the idea and will give it a try this week. The need is huge. Congrats on the launch both.
