FUTO: Develop technology to give control of computers back to the people

I've got interested in what exactly this FUTO is and what it does and here is what I found:

FUTO is founded and owned by Yahoo Games founder and WhatsApp seed investor Eron Wolf. Presumably he is also the source of all the funding for the organization -- at least I could not find information about other funding sources.

FUTO gave $10M to minds.com, a crypto-based facebook clone, where people get cryptocurrency for interacting with site.

Currently, FUTO's job page is looking for someone to write yet another OS:
