Mark Zuckerberg Prepares Meta Employees for a Tougher 2022
nytimes.com> The C.E.O. then said the company needed to crack down and work harder than it had before, “turning up the heat” on internal goals and metrics used to rate employees’ performance. He said he expected some degree of turnover from employees who were not meeting those goals and that some might leave as a result of the intensified pace.
How does this compare to previous years? Was the company very lax before and now goes back to normal or was it stressful already and now turns into a hellhole?
Probably he wants to scale down but instead of firing people he will make them quit either by overworking them or setting expectations that cant be met. I’ve met ceos or managers that couldn't fire people and instead they made them quit by giving them hell.
