hmm..., making critical infrastructure directly dependent on other (possibly hostile) nations sounds like a good idea. What could possibly go wrong?

Btw, didn't china had widespread outages due to market failures recently? If so calling china "the world leader in the development and deployment of grid technology" seems... let's say a bit off.
