Google has finally killed YouTube RSS feeds
youtube.comUntil very recently, people could subscribe to a YouTube channel (or playlist) with a URL like:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=[channel_id]
Judging by r/youtube, they've been going down about every month this year. Feeds were down for some hours a couple of days ago, too. It might be temporary, but we can't tell without an annoucement.
Previously they've been time-outs, but this is the first I've got 404s.
It returned 404s for me in the last outage a few days ago. It's working again now.
It seems to be working again. Most likely they were down temporarily for whatever reason.
Yeah, just tried the one I've been reading - this morning's fetch (~0400 UTC) got a 404 but I got the correct output just now (1018 UTC).
