This part of the FAQ is scary:

> How can I sell my shares?

> We plan to hold property forever and give all stakeholders monthly cash flow. We expect our investors to plan for the same, so we don't have plans for a market to buy and sell shares of our properties.

> We aim to refinance our properties between 2-5 years after acquiring them and increasing their value with our software competence. In this event, investors can choose to stay in or get bought out at the appraised value. The appraiser will be chosen by our bank and won't have any affiliation with Steady Capital.

> If an investor requests a buyout at any other time, for any reason, the value will be determined by 10x current trailing 12mo net operating income. This is a discounted valuation designed to keep partners in the deal unless there is a liquidity event.

Aren't real estate investment trusts already a thing? Far less risky and a very proven track record.

U.S. commercial real estate is showing distress in 2021. Now is perfect time to start dumping it to retail investors.

Yessir. It's been in severe trouble for several yrs now...that and high end residential property prices. Perhaps condo conversions will stem the coming collapse...
