Apple will let Amphetamine app stay in the App Store
theverge.comThis is good news. Good on the developer(s) for not just laying down and taking it.
I'm disheartened the top comment in the HN topic[0] -- while made with good intention -- suggested to capitulate to Apple's poor argument to remove the app. The poster made some good points with respect to taking on a fight against a vastly larger entity, but falls short in their argument in support of why Apple decided to take their action. Apple is clearly in the wrong here and if we just lie down every time the fight seems insurmountable we'll all be worse off.

Top voted comment from the previous HN discussion, advice to the developer: "they all the cards and you will lose this one and regret the wasted bandwidth."
It's sad that the only way to get treated fairly in a situation like this is for your story to go viral and cause bad PR for the company. There are probably dozens of apps in similar cases which did not make the front page and are out of luck, at the whim of Apple and some random reviewer.

There you go a happy ending for Amphetamine. Told you it was a complete waste of time for Apple. [0]
